Senior cooking with chef robert is back!

Sunday, October 10, 3:00 - 5:30 pm
$5
Memorial Lutheran Church

With more hands-on opportunities and different types of menus, the focus of this program is both educational and social, with a common task of preparing and eating a healthy and economical meal together under the expert direction of a professional chef, Robert Siegel. This program is a jointly sponsored program between three local congregations: Memorial Lutheran Church, Hephatha Lutheran Church, and Congregation Emanu-El B'ne Jeshurun, with a goal to increase understanding and interaction between senior adults of diverse backgrounds and traditions. We will have a chance to learn from Chef Robert how to plan and prepare healthy meals that are both economical and tasty! In addition to October 10, we will also meet on Sunday, December 12. Please call to reserve a spot and to ensure enough food for everyone. Scholarships and transportation are available, so make your needs known when you call. Take home all the recipes prepared, along with nutritional information, and hints for lowcost, high-taste options. The session on October will take place at Memorial Lutheran Church, 7701 North Green Bay Avenue, Glendale. Please RSVP to (414) 352-1160 or via email at nursememoriallc@ sbcglobal.net.
