2025 WE Betty Siegel Essay Contest

17th Annual
BETTY SIEGEL ESSAY CONTEST

Sponsored by the Women of Emanu-El Betty Siegel Fund

All graduating High School Seniors who are current members of
Congregation Emanu-El B’ne Jeshurun are eligible to enter.

A scholarship of $360 will be awarded as first prize and $180 for the runner-up.

Be a participant in this essay entitled:
“What does the Jewish future look like?”

Requirements

1. Your essay is limited to 500 words maximum.
    
2. 1” margins and double-spaced.
    
3. Separately from your essay, include your name, address, phone and/or email address, and high school. Also, include the name of the college you will be attending in the fall or your future plans after graduation. If submitting a written essay, include this information on a separate cover page. If emailing, include the essay as an attachment.
    
4. All entries must be postmarked or received electronically by Sunday, June 15, 2025. Essay entries may be emailed to Tiffani at assistant@ceebj.org.

Winners will be awarded at the CEEBJ Annual Meeting
on Sunday, August 17 at 4:30 pm.
