Each year we begin the Days of Awe with a special Slichot (penitential prayers) service and late night study session. Recited on the Saturday evening in the week preceding Rosh Hashanah, this is our introduction to the Days of Awe.

Join us for our annual Selihot study and late night prayer service. As a community we come together to prepare ourselves for the High Holy Day season by engaging intellectually and spiritually with the themes of the season.

Join us at 8:00 pm for a rousing study session and for a screening and discussion of the film Exam. We’ll discuss themes of the season through the film.

Stay for the dessert reception at 10:30 pm followed by the formal opening of our season of forgiveness with the prayers of Selihot and changing of the Torah mantles at 11:00 pm.
