Our last Shabbat in Jerusalem

On our final Shabbat in Jerusalem, we attended Friday evening services at the Jerusalem Great Synagogue on King George St.  The service was amazing with Chief Cantor Chaim Adler leading the service and the Great Synagogue choir conducted by Elli Jaffe participating throughout Kabbalat Shabbat and Ma’ariv.

After Shabbat, again we visited Ben Yehudah Street, and heard a very talented pianist playing on a “concrete” piano bolted down right in the middle of the plaza. Also, there was this wonderful choir singing their hearts out!
