Professor DeWitt Clinton is the author of four books of poetry. His poems and essays have appeared in regional, national and international literary journals. A number of his poems have been choreographed by the UW-Milwaukee Dance Department, Dance Works and Dance Circus in Milwaukee. His latest book is entitled At the End of the War. Dr. Clinton is a Vietnam veteran and his creative poems touch on the startling brutality of war with beautiful spiritual images, wisdom and mysteries drawn from his Jewish faith and East Asian philosophies. He will read from his book, which will be available at the event, followed by questions and answers.
