Ovation Communities has invited our congregation to lead Kehilah Shabbat Services for their residents, a role we shared with other congregations before COVID under the coordination of Neil Hootkin, of blessed memory. As Leviticus 19:32 teaches, “You shall rise before the aged and show deference to the old; you shall revere your God, I am the eternal,” affirming our tradition to honor elders and value their lived experience.
