We look forward to all K4-7th graders joining us on Zoom and we hope parents will join their children. Ideally, they will be joined by as many family members as possible, even those who live in different states. Together we will gather at the foot of Mount Sinai and prepare as we do each year to accept the Ten Commandments and the entire Torah on Shavuot with the famous words, Na’aseh v’nishmah (We will do and we will hear.) This program will also be the kick-off of our Mitzvah Week (instead of a Mitzvah Day), where families will be encouraged to make kits over the week and drop them off after the last session of Romemu on May 23. If that wasn’t enough excitement for one day, we also will be honoring all those who teach us Torah that morning with a special ceremony to thank our teachers and madrichim.
