Please join us on Mitzvah Day. We will kick off the day at 9:30 am and are excited to have Reggie Jackson, Senior Researcher at The Redress Movement speak to us about the significant contributions of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The Redress Movement is a Black-led organization committed to leading a multi-racial movement that empowers communities to take direct action to redress racial segregation.

Volunteers Needed!
As a complement to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service we will be creating:

• Winter Gear Kits for Street Angels
• Hygiene Kits for Repairers of the Breach
• Birthday Bags for Jewish Community Pantry
• Snack Packs for Hunger Task Force
• Making Happy Cards to include in the kits

Volunteer Opportunities that need Registration:
9:30 - 10:30 am - Lasagna Making in the CEEBJ kitchen for the Jewish Community Pantry (10 people needed).

1:00 - 3:00 pm - We are in need of 15 Volunteers in the afternoon to travel to and help out at the Repairers of the Breach. 5 volunteers to help with each of these 3 activities:

• Sort, fold, and hang items in the clothing room
• Organizing in the basement
• General cleaning on the first floor
