Birthday blessings for all those celebrating birthdays in the month of February. Our Adult Choir will sing and childcare will be provided. In honor of AFS, a special “Ask the Rabbis” session will follow the service.

Become a family who sponsors a student for AFS Shabbat

The AFS Shabbat allows us to connect not only with our own culture, but also, and more importantly, with the cultures of others. By participating in the AFS Shabbat, you bring young people from all over the world into your home. You introduce them to Jewish life and traditions. We also answer questions during the service and provide explanation to the AFS students regarding our religion and culture. It’s an opportunity for interfaith and international interaction.

Make a difference and mark February 22, 2019, on your calendar as the day you will be sponsoring or hosting an AFS student for Shabbat dinner.
