All classes meet on Thursday evenings at CEEBJ, from 7:00 – 8:30 pm. Come to one or as many as you’d like!

- September 5, Rabbi Barolsky and Cantor Barash: Why those words? Learn about some of the ways our prayers have changed and evolved, for the High Holy Days and throughout the year.
- September 12, Rabbi Barolsky: All the High Holy Days questions you’ve been afraid to ask. Bring your burning questions (or submit them in the Notes field below). Ask about Selichot, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, Simchat Torah, or anything in between! Please submit your questions in notes section below.
- September 19, Cantor Barash: Special melodies of the High Holy Days. (Description coming soon)
- September 26, Miles Roger: A sweet new year. We've all had overly dry and tasteless honey cake in the past, but they can actually be delicious! Learn how to make a moist honey cake with Miles Roger, Director of Lifelong Learning. In addition to leaving with your own cake ready to bake, we will explore various food traditions for the High Holy Days.
