ATTENDANCE AND RESERVATIONS
Following is detailed information regarding attendance at and access to CEEBJ’s High Holy Days services — in person or online. We look forward to welcoming you and your guests!
ATTENDANCE
A. In Person:
Name Tags/Tickets: To help everyone connect or reconnect at this joyous and sacred time, and to better support our security efforts, we've included name tag cards for your household in the information packet we mailed to you. We ask that you bring your name tags to all in-person Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services. These will serve as your High Holy Day tickets, and we will ask you to show them to our greeters as you enter our building.
We will have name tag holders and lanyards to display your name tags available for pickup right before High Holy Day services, and during the week prior at the office.
1. Reservations are required for Children’s High Holy Day Experiences, Childcare, and Transportation. We also ask for all guests to be pre-registered for security purposes, and so we can be fully prepared to welcome them. Click here to make your reservations or call the synagogue office at 414-228-7545.
2. Guests and Adult Children: While there will be no specific cost for your adult children and/or guests to attend, we ask to please register them in advance, and please encourage them to consider making a donation to the CEEBJ High Holy Days Appeal to support our operations. Click here to register your guests or call the synagogue office at 414-228-7545.
B. Online: All services can be viewed online via Zoom, Facebook, YouTube and the CEEBJ website to allow for real-time access to our services for those unable to attend in person. Zoom links and codes will be emailed in Emanu-Email, and available to members logged in to ceebj.org. Services will be available on all other platforms without passwords.
C. Reciprocity requests will be submitted upon request to the destination synagogue. Please indicate your need for reciprocity by visiting bit.ly/4omLZfd or by calling 414-228-7545.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT
We truly want our High Holy Days offerings to be accessible to all of our congregants, whatever your level of technological sophistication. Our services are created to be available during services to all congregants, friends and family, no matter their location and circumstances through Yom Kippur. If you have technical support questions, call: CEEBJ Tech Hotline (414) 973-1742 or email: tech@ceebj.org.
CHILDREN
We’re excited to offer terrific programming for families of children of all ages:
For ages 5 and younger, see Childcare (below).
For K4-6th graders, see Children’s High Holy Days Experience (below).
Teens are welcome to join parents in services, be part of our machzor madrichim corp, assist our Director of Lifelong Learning with Children’s High Holy Day Experience, or assist with childcare. Please see the appropriate sections below.
CHILDREN'S HIGH HOLY DAYS EXPERIENCES
Your children are invited and encouraged to join us for hands-on, High Holy Day Experiences of the senses while their parents and older siblings attend the morning services.
Rosh Hashanah: Tuesday, September 23, 10:30 am - K4 - 6th Graders
Children in K4-6th grade are invited to join for a morning of Rosh Hashanah fun, including games, food, and more. It will be a wonderful way to begin the new Jewish year. Children will be with parents for the first and last half-hours of the service. Announcements will be made in the service when programming begins and when children will return to the Sanctuary.
Yom Kippur: Thursday, October 2, 10:00 am - K4 - 6th Graders
We will reflect on the year that has been and look to how we can return to a better path in the upcoming year. Children in K4-6th grade will engage with this special day in meaningful, active way. Children will participate during the entirety of the service. An adult (18+) must be present to pick up children at the conclusion of the service.

MI SHE-BEI-RACH FOR ROSH HASHANAH MORNING SERVICE
Our practice is to share the names of our loved ones, friends, and congregation members who are ill, and then join together in a prayer for healing on their behalf at our service on the first morning of Rosh Hashanah. To facilitate the sharing of names, click here to submit the names (in English or Hebrew) online or call the synagogue office at 414-228-7545 by Monday, September 22. The names of your loved ones will be shared during our morning service on Tuesday morning, September 23. If you have questions, please contact Toni Quartana in the Clergy office at 414-228-7545 or email clergyoffice@ceebj.org.
BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE
Preserve the memory of your loved ones in the Book of Remembrance. All names that are on memorial plaques will be included in the Book of Remembrance. Click here to submit additional names or call 414-228-7545 through Friday, August 22.
